1. Where were you born?
I was born in Aberdare and grew up in Mountain Ash.
2. What was your route to Hugh James?
After my A-Levels I did a degree in
German and Spanish at Exeter University (2000-4). I then did a
2-year law degree at Cardiff University (2004-6), followed by the
LPC, also at Cardiff. I took part in the 2 week vacation scheme at
Hugh James in 2005, and started my training contract here in
2007.
3. Which seats have you undertaken so far?
My first seat was in the harmful
products, working mainly on the seroxat litigation. My second seat
was in clinical negligence and I did my third seat in
commercial property.
4. What is your favourite pastime?
More than anything I enjoy going out with friends for a drink or
for some good food (or both!)
5. Tell us something about yourself that we would never
guess?
I lived in Valencia for a year and taught Spanish part-time for
3 years before beginning my training contract.
