the community.

Community
Mentoring scheme
Working in conjunction with
Careers Wales, Hugh
James has become involved in a mentoring scheme whereby the
mentor (a Hugh James employee) will meet monthly with a mentee
(a local school child aged 14-16) to discuss issues, e.g. CV
preparation, exam tips and G.C.S.E choices. We
currently provide over 30 volunteer mentors who are working
with 70 students in two Cardiff schools.
In March 2010 Hugh James
were honoured for this mentoring scheme at a Careers
Wales award ceremony.

Legal clinic
We regularly run free medical negligence advice drop in clinics. If you
are thinking about whether or not to make a claim for negligence
compensation why not come along and speak to one of our friendly

Charity
In 2012 Hugh James will be
raising money for the following charities: Bobath, Barnado's, Mencap, Ty Hapus, Tenovus, Tŷ Hafan. Money will be raised for
these charities throughout the year through dress down days, cake
