The Employment and HR Services Team's quarterly series of breakfast seminars returns for 2012. The programme commences on Wednesday 29th February 2012 and discusses the often thorny issue of managing abesence through the winter blues.

The session delivered by Louise Price, Partner and Gwenno
Hughes-Marshall, Senior Associate will:

  • Examine recent case law decisions on paid holiday for sick workers
  • Address the need for watertight paper trails and how to conduct return to work interviews
  • Explore the importance of medical reports, PHI schemes and holidays and absence
  • Discuss reasonable adjustments and British Midland Airways v Hamed, and restructures during sick leave

To ensure your organisation is aware of the delicate balance to be struck between effective absence management and legal requirements, attend this seminar for a fee of £25 plus VAT at our Cardiff office.

Following the usual format, the seminar will commence at 08.30am with a buffet breakfast and will close at approximately 10am.
