On 12th November 2009 our Neurolaw team at Hugh James hosted another Spinal Injury Conference at The Celtic Manor Hotel, Newport.

 

The delegates comprised of health care professionals, service providers, clinicians, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and carers.

 

Topical issues such as the initial management of a spinal cord injury, prevention of pressure sores, ventilation for individuals with spinal cord injuries, personal injury trusts, scientific research regarding repair of injured spinal cord cells, housing design and assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities were presented and debated at length.
