A group of Cardiff solicitors say they won't be found guilty of
not training for this year's HSBC Cardiff 10K Run.
Staff at
Wales' largest independent law firm Hugh James are
taking part in the event's popular Corporate Team Challenge with
money raised from the Run being used by its official charity
partner Kidney Wales to help children affected by kidney cancer and
renal failure.
More than 50 companies
from across Wales have already signed-up to the Corporate Team
Challenge making this year's entry a record-breaker.

are proud to support Kidney Wales in this
year's HSBC Cardiff 10K run. They undertake incredibly
valuable support for families affected by kidney cancer and renal
failure within Wales. We wish all the runners the
greatest of success with this race and very much hope they raise as
much money as possible for this very worthy cause. "
Roy J. Thomas, Chairman
of the HSBC Cardiff 10K Organising Committee, said: "The support of
businesses in Cardiff and across Wales of this year's event has
surpassed all our expectations. We not only have record number of
participants from members of the general public, but businesses
too, which underlines just how popular this City event is and sends
a huge message of support to kidney patients."
Entry prices to the
Corporate Challenge are £250. Individual entries are just £16 for
affiliated club runners and £18 for non-affiliated runners. All
entries receive a free race pack, while the first 3,000 will also
receive a free race-day T-shirt. Medals are awarded to
everyone who finishes the race.
For younger runners and
families there is the ever-popular HSBC Cardiff 2K Run, which takes
place on the same day. More than 500 families took part last year.
Entry for this year's event is just £15 for a family of four and £5
for individual entries.
