In support of Breast Cancer
Awareness Month, members of the Hugh James personal injury team
proudly participated in the Tenovus Big Pink Abseil down the Media
Wales offices on Park Street, Cardiff on Friday 9 October.
With one in three people being
affected by cancer in Wales, this fundraising event raised money
for a very poignant cause. All proceeds are going towards the
Tenovus mobile cancer unit, which provides vital support and advice
to those affected by all types of cancer, including breast cancer,
in the comfort of their local community.
The Hugh James team bravely
abseiled down the 26 metres raising over £500 in aid of cancer.
Leading the Hugh James team was
Partner, Cenric Clement-Evans, who, following his successful
descent, said: “We are proud to be involved in the Big Pink abseil
and to raise money for such a worthy cause. The volunteers risked
the wintery weather conditions to scale down the building, which is
an achievement in itself”.
Cenric was also joined by fellow
Partner Mark Harvey and Lorraine Robinson a trainee with Hugh
James.
