Lee Byrne win crucial appeal against ban

Wales fullback Lee Byrne
is now available for selection for Saturday’s 6 Nations
international against England at Twickenham following an appeal
brought against the level of sanction imposed on him for misconduct
during the Ospreys' recent Heineken Cup victory over Leicester.
The appeal was heard by
an independent committee in Glasgow and Byrne was represented by
Adam Lewis QC on the instructions of Hugh James senior partner,
Gareth
Williams.
Williams, who is a
longstanding legal representative of the Welsh Rugby Union said: “I
am delighted Lee now has the opportunity to play for Wales on
Saturday. I’m sure we are all looking forward to putting these
events behind us and enjoying what promises to be a fantastic
occasion at Twickenham."
