Two new partners announced at leading law firm

Leading Cardiff law firm, Hugh
James, announces a significant number of promotions – including two
new Partners. The promotions include a new Partner for the
Commercial Property team, which – despite economic conditions - has
seen an increase in activity.
Louise Price and David
Pittick become Partners at the firm, while two new divisional heads
- covering the Corporate & Banking and Claimant divisions - are
appointed. A number of promotions at Senior Associate and
Associate levels are also announced by the firm.
Louise Price – who has
developed her professional career with Hugh James since joining as
a trainee solicitor in 2001 - is made a Partner in the Employment
and HR Services department. Louise specialises in providing
employment support to the firm’s corporate and commercial
clients.
As a key player in
setting up Hugh James’s niche pensions and employee benefits
practice within the Employment and HR Services Department, Louise
will continue to build this practice.
David Pittick is made a
Partner in the Commercial Property department. David
specialises in new build residential development, including
greenfield and brownfield sites and regeneration such as mixed-use
developments and urban regeneration schemes. He also has
extensive experience of associated planning agreements and
statutory infrastructure agreements.
As a Partner, David will
continue to build the department’s estate conveyancing practice,
and will work to diversify the client base and strengthen
relationships with key work providers.
