AJ Access Platforms Ltd to reinvest
transaction proceeds in ongoing Sales Division
A J Access Platforms Ltd,
has sold its powered access rental division company A J Rentals Ltd
to AFI Holdings Ltd in a multi-million pound deal. AJ Access
Platforms Ltd was founded in 1990 by Managing Director
Tony Mort. The company, which operates from its
head office in Caldicott, supplies quality used access
platforms to customers throughout the UK, Europe and the rest
of the world.
The proceeds of the
transaction will be invested into AJ Access Platforms Ltd which
will continue to own and operate the powered access machine sales,
maintenance of platforms and training sides of the business. AJ
Access Platforms Ltd will concentrate on its core activities of
selling used access platforms to customers in Europe and the rest
on the world.
Tony Mort, managing
director of AJ Access Platforms Ltd said:
"The sale of our hire
division to AFI concludes a good deal for all, AFI has purchased
a strong local customer base and a well maintained fleet of
access platforms for hire, whilst we can provide further commitment
to our core strength of selling platforms nationally and around the
world.”
