Speaking about the awards, Richard
Lane, head of commercial at Hugh James, said:
“Quality and innovation are crucial
factors in stimulating economic growth and we are delighted to be
supporting the Wales Quality Centre’s Innovation Awards which
promote and develop both. As a firm we are committed to helping
innovative companies maximise the value of their intellectual
property and their commercial activities. We were delighted some of
our clients were successful at last year’s awards and would
encourage them to engage in the application process this year.”
Vincent Kane, chairman of the Wales
Quality Centre, said:
“Innovation is the most desirable
attribute a modern Welsh business can possess, but it is not an
optional extra, it is an absolute essential. Companies which
innovate move forward into the future; those which don't, stand
still, they will be overtaken, they will wither on the vine. We
want companies which are trying to be innovative to stand up and be
counted. Show us what you have done, or are doing that is
different, and we will beat the drum for you. And for Wales!”
