Two new partners announced at Hugh James
Wales’ leading independent
law firm, Hugh James, has announced a significant number of
promotions, including two new partners.

Lisa Morgan and Hannah Williams
become partners at the firm while promotions at other levels are
also announced comprising six new associates and four new senior
associates.
Lisa, who was recently named Junior
Solicitor of the Year at the Law Society’s annual Excellence
Awards, featured on Glamour magazine's power list and has recently
been short listed for the Junior Lawyers Pro-Bono Awards 2011
becomes a partner in the nursing care team. She says: “It has been
a great year for me and the nursing care team at Hugh James.
Awards aside, we have been able to recover really significant sums
for families who have been overcharged for nursing home fees. I am
looking forward to continuing this work as a partner and to
ensuring that families and individuals do not pay more than they
are legally required to for essential nursing care."
Hannah whose expertise was
recognised last year by her appointment to the Law Society
specialist clinical negligence panel, becomes a partner in the
clinical negligence department. She says: “Given the team's
reputation as the top clinical negligence practice in Wales, I am
delighted to become a partner. We are achieving some great results
for our clients who have suffered as a result of medical errors,
making it easier for them to cope with their injuries in the
future.”
