The Hugh James Spinal Injury Conference 2011

On Tuesday November 8th 2011 the
Hugh James Spinal Injury Conference took
place at the Village Hotel Cardiff. This biennial event is popular
with all spinal injury related professions including doctors,
occupational therapists, service providers and social workers. The
event attracted over 50 delegates with six external presentations
from experts in their field.
The conference was chaired by
Andrew Harding, Partner and Head of the
top ranked Neurolaw Team at Hugh James
solicitors. The conference tackled many issues including treatment,
rehabilitation, mobility, welfare benefits and body esteem
issues. Mark Harvey, Partner and
Head of the Personal Injury Team at Hugh
James solicitors also spoke about the impending Jackson reforms and the affect to those
suffering a spinal injury.
