London Underground Accident – 37 Injured
Eleven passengers were taken to hospital and thirty seven were injured following a rush hour train crash on the London Underground.
The incident happened at around 8 a.m. on the Central Line (westbound) between Mile End and Bethnal Green Stations on Thursday 5th July
Accident investigators are focussing on the possibility of the derailment having been caused by an obstruction on the line.
It took several hours for rescuers to free around three hundred and fifty trapped passengers on the derailed train and another train following it.
