Our advice centres around six key
issues:
- Procurement
strategy – assisting you to define the strategy that
best meets your needs whether it is the traditional route, design
and build or PFI.
- Framework/Partnering agreements – delivering
specialist advice on the process involved in partnering and
collaborative arrangements including framework agreements.
- Public Private Partnerships – Private Finance
Initiative – delivering specialist advice on construction
related issues that are often central to PPP/PFI projects.
- Drafting – we advise on the range of
contractual documents in construction and energy projects. We
also assist clients with drafting and amendments to industry
standard contract documentation.
- General advice – Maintaining close
relationships with our clients we provide proactive advice during a
project to clarify issues and help to avoid problems. We often
provide legal helplines and 'legal health checks' on existing
documents to flag up potential problems and encourage best
practice.
- Dispute management and resolution – if
disputes arise, we can advise you on how to achieve an effective
and commercial result whether it be through negotiation, a
form of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, or
adjudication, litigation and arbitration.
