William Lysaght is a Consultant in
our Respiratory team. William joined Hugh James as a trainee
solicitor in 1974 and became a partner in 1981. He dealt with
criminal and matrimonial cases until 1989 at which stage he moved
to Hugh James' Blackwood office. Since then, William has dealt with
many different types of litigation, personal injury, clinical
negligence and commercial litigation. In 2006 William
moved from Blackwood to head up the team dealing with final
settlements under The British Coal Respiratory Disease Litigation
Scheme and now deals with all aspects of the scheme
