Mogden Sewage Treatment Works
Following a seven year legal battle
against Thames Water, with the help of Hugh James, residents have
been awarded damages in relation to the odour nuisance they
suffered from Mogden Sewage Treatment Works.
Resident Steve Taylor says ‘I
sincerely hope that Judgment will result in Thames taking its
responsibilities more seriously and ensuring that in future the
Works are managed without negligence’.

Water have finally been held to account for the suffering caused to
local residents affected by the Works. The decision paves the way
for other residents who have suffered, to pursue their claims. It
