The deadlines to make a claim for
NHS continuing care to cover the cost of nursing care fees are:
- 30 September 2012 if you should
have been assessed between 1 April 2004 - 31 March 2011 (i.e. you
have 6 months from now)
- 31 March 2013 if you should have
been assessed between 1 April 2011 - 31 March 2012 (i.e. you have 1
year from now)
These rules only apply to people in
England.
