Andrew Harding
Andrew Harding, is a
Senior Partner and head of the neurolaw team and heads the Court of
Protection unit.
Andrew has acted as
a deputy for many years and has considerable experience within
this field. He has been a member of the PGO Panel of Professional
Receivers and member of the PGO Professional Deputies Forum.
In addition to acting in
the role of deputy, Andrew Harding can also act as a Professional
Trustee and offers professional advice and expert witness
statements to other solicitors and barristers.
Sian Warren
Sian Warren is a consultant in the
neurolaw team. Since qualifying as a solicitor, Sian
has always undertaken personal injury work and has considerable
experience of dealing with both claimant and defendant work. For 12
years, Sian acted for insurance companies in defending personal
injury claims. In 2001, Sian relocated to the claimant division in
Cardiff to deal with catastrophic injury claims and personal injury
at work claims for the Royal College of Nursing. Following a brief
period of time in the firm’s Merthyr Tydfil office dealing with a
particular project involving the miners’ respiratory claims, Sian
returned to the neurolaw team in Cardiff in September 2008.
Sian is a senior litigator under Association of Personal
Injury Lawyers Accreditation Scheme
Kate Coles
Specialist support
services manager, Kate Coles is a qualified social worker. Kate
manages the unit has particular experience in the field of
disability.
Cari Sowden-Taylor
Cari Sowden-Taylor is an
associate within the neurolaw team. Cari has been specialising
in brain injury claims since qualifying as a solicitor and
represents both child and adult clients in pursuing claims against
insurances companies, the Motor Insurers' Bureau, Criminal
Injuries Compensation Authority and local authorities. Cari has
experience of dealing with accidents abroad and liaises closely
with our Court of Protection unit for those clients who lack
capacity according to the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Maria Meek
Maria Meek is the
unit co-ordinator and is responsible for all accounts, banking
issues and much of the day to day running of the receivership
accounts and liaising with the Court of Protection. Maria is a
qualified AAT accounting technician.
