Hugh James team completes three peaks challenge for Headway

Hugh James Solicitors have been proud supporters of Headway
Cardiff for a number of years.
Roger Hill, a paralegal from the
Neurolaw department, which specialises in assisting clients with
brain injuries to pursue claims for compensation, was one of a team
of 13 people from Hugh James to successfully complete
the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge on 2nd July 2011.
The team dashed up and down
Snowden, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan in under 24 hours and raised a
healthy £1,453.62 for this local charity who provide support and
services to people with an acquired brain injury and their families
in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
Headway Cardiff has been working
for people with acquired brain injuries, their families and carers
in south east Wales since 1985. Headway provide support and
services to over 300 people every year from the Recreation Hall at
Rookwood Hospital Cardiff. Headway Cardiff aims to increase
awareness and understanding of brain injury and its consequences,
along with providing the necessary support to those with brain
injury and their families, to help them attain the highest possible
quality of life. 1 family in 300 will be affected by brain
injury.
