New Employment rates and limits for 2019

New rates and limits in the Employment field for 2019 have now been published by Government.

From 6 April 2019 the following changes will be made:

  • Week’s pay  = £525 (currently £508)
  • Basic award for unfair dismissal = £15,750 (currently £15,240)
  • Max compensatory award for unfair dismissal = £86,444 (currently £83,682) (or one year’s gross pay if lower)
  • Statutory sick pay = £94.25 (weekly) (currently £92.05)
