What do you like to do outside work?
I am a casual enthusiastic runner. I often spend 6 months of the year training for the Cardiff Half Marathon which I have completed to varying degrees of success. I spend the flip 6 months of the year not training and cajoling myself into signing up for the following year’s race.
I am a big fan of the outdoors and in particular the Welsh coastline. To the confusion of my colleagues I choose to spend most summer holidays with my family and dog camping in West Wales whatever the weather and exploring new part of Wales and the coastal path on foot.
I live with a temperamental chef of a husband who owns a restaurant and two pubs. Therefore my spare time is spent testing new dishes and beverages and providing (unwelcome) constructive criticism. We have two small children who keep us very busy and spend their time moaning about being dragged on the abovementioned wet walks and camping trips. My eldest, together with my husband, is currently trying to teach me Welsh (which is not going too well…)
