  • Walters Group on the sale of Ffos Las racecourse, the first new horse racing venue in Britain for more than 80 years, to Arena Racing Company (Arc).
  • Avanti Media, a Cardiff-based production company, on its recent deal which saw Sky Vision increase its stake in the company.
  • Avanti Media, on all legal matters relating to the high profile tender win from the BBC to produce Songs of Praise.
  • Sheppards Pharmacy, the largest independent pharmacy group in Wales, on its acquisition of Emersons pharmacy.
  • the management team of Vista Retail Support, the leading independent IT services company, on a £14m investment from leading mid-market private equity firm LDC.
  • Voltcom, the UK’s leading company for design and refurbishment of overhead electricity transmission lines, on its reorganisation and multi-million pound investment by Beechbrook Capital.
  • Robert Price & Sons on its acquisition of Gower Timber.
  • the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) on an agreement which sees it take ownership and operational control of the Dragons, the professional rugby union team for the Gwent Region.
  • Celtic Manor Resort and the joint venture company on the £83.7m International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales).
  • SA Brain on the Central Quay waterfront regeneration scheme.
  • SIMEC on its multi-million pound investment in UK and Indian tidal lagoon programmes.
  • the Welsh Rugby Union, on its joint venture with Compass Group UK & Ireland to create a new hospitality company providing catering, conferencing and hospitality services at the Millennium Stadium.
  • High Level Software on its acquisition by Zonal Retail Data Systems.

  • Finance Wales on numerous investments, recently including the flotations of Creo Medical and Diurnal on AIM.
  • London-based Generate Sponsorship on the sale of the business to Mongoose Sports and Entertainment.
  • The founders and shareholders of corporate and financial communications business, Broker Profile on its £4 million sale to Capital Access Group Limited.
  • London based WSM Communications Group on the sale of two of its businesses to Porta Communications, the AIM quoted international marketing and communications business; and the majority shareholders of WSM Communications Group on its sale to Corbis, a Bill Gates company;
  • Cardiff Aviation on various corporate matters including its multimillion pound investment by Finance Wales and a consortium of private investors.
  • Hydro Industries on various corporate and commercial matters within the UK and globally, including a transatlantic joint venture with US giant T&T Salvage, one of the world’s largest salvage companies, as well as its collaboration with Intelligent Energy to support the commercialisation of Hydro’s water purification technology across India.
