Important deadline
Hugh James has reached an agreement with MoD to extend the registration deadline for the Military Hearing Loss Matrix Agreement to 31 July 2026.
The extension reflects the number of potentially eligible personnel who have yet to come forward.
Compensation awards under the Matrix Agreement are likely to be significantly higher than average payments available through the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme and to apply even where a AFCS claim has not been successful.
