ENMT - Casepak

Hugh James solicitors have been consulted by residents in the Leicester area who have been plagued with the encroachment of flies in their properties and which are alleged to be coming from the Casepak recycling site at Sunningdale Road.  Residents tell us that they have also been affected by odour from the same source.

We are currently investigating the possibility of bringing a group action (civil) claim on behalf of residents in your area against G A E Smith (Holdings) Ltd, the operator of the Casepak site.

The claim would be for compensation for loss of enjoyment of your home caused by the flies and/or odours and possibly a claim for injunction to ensure that the site brings an end to the nuisance/s suffered. The aim of the claim is to ensure that Casepak is operating its site with due respect to its neighbours and without causing the escape of odours/flies in the neighbourhood.  It is NOT to close the site down or to cause job losses.
