Having an up to date will is extremely important. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for you to achieve that.
To get started, there are two things to consider:
- What type of service suits you best?
We offer a postal service, telephone/video meeting or a bespoke service. The details for each option are set out below.
- What type of will suits your needs?
We have set out the different sorts of will options below. Your wills advisor will discuss these with you in more detail. We will ask you for your initial views when you book an appointment so we can give you a preliminary quote and to make sure that you are allocated a suitable will writer. You can change the type of will at a later date if needed.

Choosing an executor is an important decision. You can choose an individual or a professional or a combination of the two. Your executors have a legal responsibility to carry out the wishes in your will and to do so in line with the requirements of the law. As a customer, you have the option to appoint Lloyds Bank plc as executor and trustee of your will. There is no obligation to appoint Lloyds Bank plc to use the will writing service. We can guide you through your options depending on your circumstances.
