We have retained the majority of our rankings and achieved a number of key improvements in the newly released 2026 Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners guides.
In Chambers & Partners, we maintained rankings across 23 practice areas, with three departments moving up the tables. These include improvements for Court of Protection: Property & Affairs (UK-wide), Group Litigation: Claimant (UK-wide), and Professional Negligence (Wales), the latter now ranked in the top band.
Our Manchester office retained its Band 1 ranking for Clinical Negligence – Mainly Claimant, underlining our growing reputation in the region. The London office also continued to perform strongly, maintaining rankings across several key practice areas and contributing to our overall national profile.
The 2026 Chambers results also saw new rankings for Energy and Projects (Wales) and Charities – Legacy Disputes (UK-wide), reflecting both the breadth of our expertise and strategic growth in these specialist areas.
In The Legal 500, 33 practice areas retained their positions, with an additional improvement for Private Client: Charities & Not for Profit (Wales), which advanced to Tier 1.
Both directories also recognised several further new entries, extending our presence and depth across core markets.
About the rankings, Managing Partner Alun Jones said:

We’re pleased to see our established practices continue to perform strongly while also gaining recognition in new areas. Our focus remains on delivering exceptional service and maintaining this momentum in the year ahead.”
