Welcome to the Renting Homes information hub

On 1st December 2022, the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 became law in Wales. It affects virtually every residential occupancy in Wales, bringing in new types of residential contract, a multitude of new rules for day to day housing management and governing the way in which residential occupancies can be ended.

On these pages you will find information on a variety of aspects of the Act and numerous questions/issues we have assisted our clients with during the process of preparing for the Act to become law.
