What are you looking for?

Corporate restructuring and insolvency

Our partner-led team of insolvency solicitors have considerable experience in this field. We act for a variety of clients nationally and internationally including licensed insolvency practitioners, banks, asset-based lenders, businesses and individuals.

The work we undertake ranges from complex multi -discipline corporate restructuring projects (often requiring detailed advisory services) through to insolvency litigation. Particularly in the field of those corporate matters with an insolvency element we have the capability to rapidly assemble multi-disciplinary teams as required on a case-by-case basis. This enables us to act both quickly and effectively in cases of all levels of complexity and scale and which comprise legal issues beyond insolvency.

In relation to contentious work involving a corporate insolvency, we are particularly experienced in the area of antecedent transactions (including misfeasance), acting for either claimant of defendant. Our client base in that regard includes insolvency practitioners, lending institutions and company directors.

We provide advisory work to businesses, financial institutions, public bodies and individuals on a broad range of insolvency related matters.

Clients expect technical excellence in what can often be a very precise and exacting area of law. We deliver that excellence and combine it with commercial experience to ensure that the very highest quality and value for money is consistently being delivered, whatever the nature of the transaction.

Why use us?

Members of our team have been continuously involved in the field of insolvency over many years advising a wide range of clients. This means that we can provide the added value of considerable experience not least that gained through previous economic recessions and the banking crisis of 2008.

How we act for our clients

Work undertaken will usually involve an initial consultation – conducted either remotely or in person- where background information is obtained, and the legal issues identified.

Your requirements and objectives will be established. This in turn leads to the provision of a scope of work which describes the work to be undertaken (including, as appropriate, the identification of the various departments to be involved) with a view to meeting your objectives.
