Russell Osman

Russell Osman has more than 25 years’ experience in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters with clients ranging from start ups and individual entrepreneurs to established companies and LLPs.

Russell joined the firm on 30 April 2026 when Howat Avraam joined forces Hugh James.

Russell advises on all kinds of commercial contracts, including licensing, manufacturing, franchising, distribution, supply and assignment agreements, terms and conditions of sale and commercial agency matters. His corporate experience includes mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, asset sales and purchases, venture capital investments and company re-organisations as well as share incentive and option schemes.

Russell is always keen to learn about his clients’ businesses to ensure that his proposals best fit their requirements and he understands that most clients are more worried about business efficacy than legal intricacy so is happy to suggest a simple solution if it will achieve the required result.
