Christine Bradbury

Christine is an experienced employment lawyer, who specialises in providing practical and commercial advice to private and public sector organisations in relation to a wide range of often complex employment issues.

Throughout her career, Christine has regularly advised employers on both day-to-day HR issues and more strategic employment matters, including Tribunal claims, all aspects of discrimination, unfair dismissal, workplace conduct and performance issues, restructuring exercises (both individual and collective) and contractual matters.

Christine frequently advises employers on the implications of the TUPE Regulations on business transfers and the contracting out of services. Christine has also had experience of advising on the employment aspects of PFI/PPP/public sector initiatives.

More recently, Christine has provided day-to-day advice and support to local authorities in relation to misconduct allegations involving statutory officers and the handling of exit negotiations. Christine has also delivered training sessions to members sitting on Disciplinary and Appeals Committees in a number of Local Authorities, including training on the application of the Local Authorities (Standing Orders) Regulations in England and Wales.

During her career, Christine has acted for clients in a range of sectors, including technology, construction, transport, retail, logistics and public services.

Christine is regularly involved in presenting client seminars, updates on the latest legal developments and in training personnel or panel members on a range of policies and procedures.
