We have announced significant growth in our Family Law team across Cardiff and London, giving clients access to a growing team with experience in complex family matters.
Led by Victoria Cannon, Partner and Head of Family Law, our team has grown by 40% over the past three years and now has seven members serving a national client base from our Cardiff and London offices. The team’s work includes advising individuals and families on divorce and separation, financial matters, children issues and nuptial agreements, including cases involving significant wealth, businesses and complex assets.
The growth reflects a focus on developing our Family Law service and follows on from a successful launch of the team’s Family Law Plus client hub last year. The hub brings together information, resources and access to a directory of vetted professionals, helping clients find wider support during and after a separation. The initiative has been shortlisted for Private Client Innovation of the Year at the 2026 Spear’s Awards.
We have also welcomed senior associate Kerry Read to our London office, the first London-based family lawyer to join the team in our 66-year history. Kerry will continue to develop our family law service in London, including acting for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Victoria Cannon said:
“We are incredibly proud of the growth we’ve achieved over the past three years and delighted to be furthering our London presence with the arrival of Kerry Read. We have rebuilt our offering, nearly doubled our revenue and we are always looking for ways to improve the service we provide for our clients.
“I believe firmly in a people-led approach to family law. That applies to our clients and to our team. We empower our lawyers to be the best they can be, and that means leading with sympathy and empathy.
“Our clients are dealing with incredibly personal and difficult issues when they come to us. We want clients to feel listened to and supported, with clear legal advice and practical help shaped around what matters to them.
“Our growth reflects the strength of the team and enables us to support individuals and families across the UK from our offices in Cardiff and London. I’m excited to see how our service continues to develop and meet the changing needs of our clients.”
