Webinar: LATC: Renting Homes replay | April 2022

All landlords in Wales are preparing for the implementation of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016, which will come into force on 15th July 2022. The Act is the most significant change in housing law in a generation.

Bethan Gladwyn and Rebecca Rees look at some of the particular issues Local Authorities in Wales need to prepare for, with a particular focus on the nature of the agreements which local authorities need to be using, the future of temporary housing for the homeless, and the role of local authorities in Supported Housing (both as landlord and as consultee of other community landlords).

We have posted the webinar recording above, for you to watch at your leisure. You can find out more about what the Local Authority Training Consortium offers, as well as any upcoming sessions, on our dedicated LATC webpage.
