Fran is an Associate in the clinical negligence team and works alongside Lynda Reynolds as part of the specialist Inquest Team.
She is instructed on various matters including surgical negligence, ophthalmic cases, missed and delayed cancer diagnosis and several inquests with a focus on mental health negligence.
She has a varied caseload with several high value litigated cases, she also assists Ruth Powell with several high value brain injury matters dealing with both liability issues and where quantum is being calculated. She has an excellent grasp of the family dynamics and builds an excellent rapport with her clients. She works well with the case managers and experts in building the evidence base to proceed through the quantum stages.
Fran is involved with AvMA, regularly volunteering on the helpline, providing free and independent advice on the options available to callers who have been victims of medical accidents.
She is hugely capable and efficient in dealing with clients and defendants. She always takes the time to ensure her clients fully understand their case and the complexities that can arise.
What do you love most about your job?
Fran loves being able to see first hand the difference a successful claim can make to a Client and their family.
