Horatio’s Garden is a national charity creating and nurturing beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres to support everyone affected by spinal injury. They grow thriving communities to support patients, their families and friends facing long stays in NHS hospitals as they adjust to, or care for someone with, a life-changing injury.

The Limbless Association (LA) believe no amputee need cope alone. They offer both practical and emotional support for amputees throughout their pre and post-amputation journey.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. Using a helicopter, and rapid response cars at night or in adverse weather situations, London’s Air Ambulance brings the hospital to the patient when time is critical.

They do this by advocating for better treatment and care, enhancing quality of life, supporting research and amplifying the patient’s voice.

NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood) offers support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect.

Creating brighter todays and better tomorrows for the children of Wales. Their mission is to support the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales and the children and families within it.

RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims in the UK. They provide information and support services to people bereaved or seriously injured in road crashes and engage in evidence based policy and campaigning work to fight for justice for victims and reduce road danger.

Rookwood Spur is a registered charity set up with the aim of promoting and improving the quality of life and opportunities for patients of the Welsh Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Centre. Originally at Rookwood Hospital, the centre moved to University Hospital Llandough in 2021.

The Rooprai Spinal Trust was set up to support those affected by spinal cord injury (SCI).

They are an independent, registered charity that is 100% dedicated to helping people living with asbestos-related conditions across the South West of England, including Devon and Cornwall.

Their holistic approach to supporting SCI people and their loved ones means they provide the time, expertise and connections essential to making pathways towards a fulfilled life.

They provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.

The CCSS volunteers explain the processes, procedures and the remit of the Inquest thus helping those attending to have a much better understanding of their role within this often frightening environment. The relief they have felt once the volunteer has been able to explain the remit is palpable.

The Silverlining Charity is a group of like-minded people who aim to improve the quality of life of all those affected by brain injury. Their work engages brain injured people with the wider community in such a way which invigorates, motivates and rehabilitates to discover a sense of purpose, social structure and added meaning to their lives.

Their goal is to end preventable deaths from sepsis and improve outcomes for sepsis survivors. They believe that earlier diagnosis and treatment across the UK would save several thousand lives a year.

Victim Support is an independent charity dedicated to supporting people affected by crime and traumatic incidents in England and Wales. They provide specialist services to help people cope and recover, and to empower them to ensure their voices are heard individually and collectively at a local and national level.

Wales Air Ambulance offers advanced critical care and is often described as a ‘Flying ED’. The on-board consultants and critical care practitioners are highly skilled and carry some of the most pioneering medical equipment in the world. They can deliver blood transfusions, administer anaesthesia and undertake emergency operations at the scene of the incident, before flying the patient directly to specialist care.

Their services offer both driver and passenger assessments that aim to provide people with long-term mobility solutions.
