Greg Williams, Christy Welsh and Chris Doherty recently advised Malpas Dental Practice in relation to its sale to Portman Dental Group, a group of private dental practices.
The Newport-based practice was established by husband and wife, Keith and Debbie Morgan, over 10 years ago.
The parties involved in the transaction were introduced by the consulting firm, ProPractices.
Speaking of the recent acquisition, Keith Morgan said:
“I’d like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to Greg Williams and the entire team at Hugh James for their help with the sale of our dental practice. They advised and represented us during a long and protracted negotiation ensuring a very successful result. Their professionalism was only matched by their approachability and good humour.”
Partner and head of our healthcare team, Greg Williams, said:
“We were pleased to have advised Keith and Debbie on their sale of Malpas and wish them well as they continue under the Portman umbrella.
“From a general perspective the healthcare team is receiving a number of instructions from healthcare providers and it’s clear to see that the activity levels for acquisitions in the dental, pharmacy and wider care sectors in Wales remains high notwithstanding the pressures faced by operators.”
