Please join us for our spring Employment law update which will look at new and forthcoming legislation including the implications of The Maternity Leave, Adoption Leave and Shared Parental Leave (Amendment) Regulations 2024 (which will extend the protected period during which certain employees are entitled to be offered suitable alternative vacancies in a redundancy situation).

The webinar will also cover the key changes to the Working Time Regulations (which aim to simplify holiday entitlement and holiday pay calculations) and we will also be covering the Government’s imminent changes to visa rules.

Alongside the legislative update, we will run through some notable case law including the EAT’s assessment of the “band of reasonable responses” test in the context of a dismissal for posting a racist joke (Vaultex v Bialas) and whether liability for harassment transferred under TUPE in the case of Moore v Sean Pong Tyres.
