Since joining Hugh James in 2011, Kirsten has specialised in trusts and their administration.

Kirsten currently heads up the trust administration team which acts for private individuals, corporate clients, professional trustees and trust corporations.

Kirsten has in-depth technical knowledge of all aspects of trusts including their taxation, interpretation, complexities that may arise in relation to them and trustee’s powers and duties. Kirsten deals with high value trust arrangements for a range of clients.

Kirsten also has extensive experience in deed drafting, to include deeds of variation, partition and appointment.

Kirsten regularly meets with and provides advice, training and support to new and existing corporate clients including high street banks. Kirsten is a key contact for all corporate clients to which the firm provides trust services and has been integral in developing the firm’s trust administration service offering.
