Hugh James advises Green Bay Media on its sale to Wildflame Productions


Hugh James has advised Green Bay Media on its sale to Wildflame Productions, which is part of Flame Group.

Green Bay Media is a Cardiff based, independent production company that has produced more than 200 hours of documentaries and worked with leading broadcasters including Channel 4, BBC, ITV and France Télévisions.

John Caldon, Falme Group’s chairman and chief executive, said:

“We are delighted to welcome the Green Bay Media team as we enhance our UK production division and talent base. We have been highly impressed with the quality of staff and the creative ambition in Wales and Green Bay has an enviable reputation in factual programming.

“Green Bay has produced award winning world-class television for nearly 20 years. We’re proud to be able to build on this success and support the talented team to continue to produce outstanding programming.”

The acquisition will see Green Bay Media move to new premises’ along with all of their staff’ to join Wildflame in Cardiff’s creative quarter in the city centre.
