Potentially 10,000 patients affected by the Zimmer Biomet Nexgen knee replacement recall

Hugh James is representing patients who have been recalled to their hospitals and clinics because their NexGen knee replacement manufactured by Zimmer Biomet has been recalled at their request.

The manufacturers have recognised that combinations of their NexGen components have clinically and statistically significantly higher overall revision rates as compared to other knee replacements in the United Kingdom National Joint Registry (UK NJR).

Read and download the official recall here

It is important that patients who believe they have NexGen knee replacements should consult their doctors; not all components are part of the recall.

Hugh James have represented several hundred other patients who have had unsuccessful orthopaedic joints.
