The family of a man who died from mesothelioma – a cancer caused by asbestos exposure – is appealing for information from individuals who worked with him between 1978 and 1984.

Mr Tapp’s diagnosis and subsequent recent death has been an extremely difficult time for his wife and family.
Our expert legal team is now appealing for witnesses who worked for UBM Scaffolding Ltd at the Devonport Dockyard during the same time as Mr Tapp. He worked in various shops in the Dockyard including the blacksmith shop and on the HMS Ark Royal and HMS Eagle whilst they underwent refits.

Anyone with information about working conditions, asbestos exposure as a scaffolder at the dockyard, or who may recall working with Mr Tapp is urged to get in touch.
