Contact Number: 029 2267 5400

As a Partner in the Commercial Property team, David specialises in advising on telecoms leases, the acquisition of telecoms sites by investors and operators, and in advising on the decommissioning of telecoms sites.

When MBNL, the joint venture company owned by EE and Three, consolidated their networks across the whole of England and Wales, David was instrumental in the advice provided. The consolidation included the decommissioning of a number of sites which had never been attempted before in the UK. Prior to this, David acted for Three in the quickest roll out of a new telecoms network in Europe.

Acting for a large and diverse range of landlords, investors including AP Wireless, and private network owners, David has significant experience in the telecoms sector. He has recently been advising on the Telecoms Code.

On the non-telecoms side of things, David also advises on renewable energy matters including wind and solar farms. He is also heavily involved in the leisure sector, having acted for The Celtic Manor Resort for many years. More recently, David has advised on the development of the ICCW, the new International Convention Centre for Wales, located at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.

David also advises high net worth individuals in property investment and the management of their portfolios.

With vast experience within the sector advising private network owners, investors and landlords, telecoms law is a key area of David’s portfolio.

Nationally recognised as a leading specialist in advising on the new Electronic Communications Code and telecoms leases, David’s niche extends to advising on the acquisition and decommissioning of telecoms sites by investors and operators, and in advising on the decommissioning of telecoms sites.
