Emily Thomas


Emily is a solicitor in our Employment and HR Services team. She regularly assists senior lawyers on complex and high-value employment tribunal claims.

Emily has gained experience in a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters since joining the employment team. Emily has also delivered numerous training sessions and seminars to clients and delegates on a range of matters including employment law updates and equality and diversity.

She has experience of working with a variety of clients across a wide range of employment and HR matters, including:

  • employment tribunal litigation
  • unfair and wrongful dismissal
  • Equality Act 2010
  • Settlement agreements
  • day to day HR support including disciplinary, grievance and absence management matters and investigations
  • drafting and reviewing employment contracts, staff handbooks and policies

Emily has assisted senior lawyers with the successful defence of complex and high-value employment tribunal claims including claims of constructive unfair dismissal, unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing.
