Maddie initially joined Hugh James in 2017 as a paralegal in the Commercial Property department before completing her Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University. She then returned to Hugh James in 2019 in order to begin her Training Contract.
Maddie's first seat was with the Asbestos team and it was here that she developed a keen interest in claimant litigation. She then joined the Clinical Negligence department and having spent the majority of her Training Contract with the Clinical Negligence team, she qualified as solicitor within the department in 2021.
Maddie has experience in dealing with complaints made under the NHS Redress – Putting Things Right scheme and maintains her own caseload of clinical negligence claims. Maddie also continues to assist her colleagues with complex clinical negligence matters.
Maddie takes real pride in her work, has a sensitive approach and she aims to deliver both clear and comprehensive advice.
