Rob is an Associate in the Construction, Energy and Projects team specialising in non-contentious construction matters. He has a breadth or experience advising clients in the public, private and third sectors, funders, developers, main contractors and consultants.
As well as experience advising on the negotiation and drafting of JCT and NEC suite contracts, development agreements and industry-standard and bespoke professional consultant appointments, he has advised on a wide range of construction security documents including collateral warranties and performance bonds.
Rob has also assisted on a variety of renewable energy projects including wind, solar, anaerobic digestion and tidal power for developers and the public sector.
Rob Joined Hugh James as an Associate in August 2018, specialising in non-contentious construction matters. Before this, Rob practised as a solicitor specialising in non-contentious construction law at various firms including Morgan Cole and Acuity Law. Rob has also worked as a lawyer at the National Assembly for Wales advising on public law matters, specialising in the transport, planning and environment sectors.
