Counsel General and Minister for European Transition, Jeremy Miles addresses the Hugh James In-House Counsel Forum

Counsel General and Minister for European Transition, Jeremy Miles, shared his insights on the hot topics of the moment, at the latest In-House Counsel Forum, which is hosted by Hugh James and the Welsh Rugby Union.

The In-House Counsel Forum is attended by in-house legal professionals from a range of different organisations across Wales. The sessions have strict ‘Chatham House’ rules and are designed to encourage best practice through the sharing of issues and ideas on subjects relevant to the in-house legal sector.

In-house lawyers from across the public and private sectors were given the opportunity to question the Welsh Government Minister on a range of current and important issues. The event is co-hosted by Gerallt Jones, Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial at Hugh James and Rhodri Lewis, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at the Welsh Rugby Union Group.

Speaking about the event, Gerallt Jones said today:

“We’re very grateful to the Counsel General for taking the time to participate in our In-house Counsel Forum. As a former law firm partner, and in-house lawyer himself, Jeremy Miles clearly appreciated the challenges of both private practice and working in-house. The Forum has, for several years, given in-house lawyers an opportunity to share ideas and discuss matters of common interest – and this is of course even more important in the current circumstances.”
