Katherine Allen has practised in the field of Travel Litigation for over 17 years. Katherine is experienced in dealing with claims arising out of package holidays, road traffic accidents in foreign countries, accidents while working abroad and accidents occurring on aeroplanes, trains and ships. She acts for victims of such accidents helping them to secure the much needed compensation to help them enjoy the best quality of life they can, even after serious injury. Katherine has also advised people who have been directly touched by terrorist attacks.
1994 – 1997 – Trained at T G Baynes & Sons qualifying in October 1996 when Katherine became an Assistant Solicitor at the firm until she left.
1997 – 1999 – Assistant Solicitor at Stephens Innocent undertaking personal injury claims.
1999 – 2009 – Joined Irwin Mitchell’s International Travel Litigation Group, becoming an Associate Solicitor in 2001 and a Partner in 2007.
2010 – 2016 – joined Fentons Solicitors as an Associate to head the firm’s Travel Litigation Team, becoming a Partner in 2011. When Slater & Gordon acquired Fentons Katherine became the Practice Group Leader of the Birmingham office with responsibility for the operational management of the personal injury team there while maintaining my own caseload.
2016 – Joined Hugh James in August 2016.
