Lisa is one of the few advisers regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Solicitors Regulatory Authority so you can rest assured the advice you receive is governed by two bodies.

Lisa started her financial career in Leeds Building Society as Assistant Branch Manager, where she gained experience and won “Adviser of the Year” in 2012.
She has been at Hugh James since 2013, where she has helped to grow the business and the team. She has completed her full Diploma in Financial Advice and is now striving towards Chartered; the highest level of technical and professional knowledge and competence through professional qualifications.
Lisa deals with a range of interesting a diverse clients, from a church where ethical investment was paramount to trustees investing for their grandchildren or clients going through a difficult break up. The range of clients we have at Hugh James means that every meeting is very different and no solution is the same. The personal service we offer is where we stand out.

In terms of the corporate side of advice, she is able to set up staff presentations to assist with any changes in schemes, offering a very useful service to companies and their valued employees.
Lisa is experienced in providing advice on all types of mortgages, especially to high-net worth individuals and professionals who often have complex incomes.
Lisa provides advice on life, critical illness protection and income protection to name a few. Listening to client’s concerns and understanding their budgets is key to ensure our clients feel protected and comfortable.

What do you like to do outside work?
I am a keen exercise enthusiast and enjoy running, gym work and non-contact kick-boxing. Family time is where my heart truly lies.
What do you love most about your job?
I have a fantastic team around me who give me the autonomy and training to develop and also make me smile on a daily basis. The job itself can be challenging but I relish getting my brain cells working and learning something new every day.
