Lynda qualified as a solicitor in September 2014. She specialises in clinical negligence claims and has a particular interest in inquests.
Lynda has conducted cases involving unexpected deaths in hospitals. She has assisted the family through the inquest process and subsequent civil claim. This has included Article 2 inquests and encouraging the coroner to instruct the hospitals involved to take steps to prevent future deaths (PFD report).
Lynda also has experience of claims for delayed cancer diagnosis, gynaecological and obstetric negligence, surgical negligence, pressure sores and orthopaedic negligence against the NHS and private providers.
Lynda assists Grainne Barton (Partner) with her complex matters which include cerebral palsy, still birth and cauda equina claims.
She was previously an Intensive Care Nurse. This particularly assists Lynda with understanding medical records and expert reports that form the foundation of any clinical negligence claim.
Her nursing experience ensures she is able to effectively communicate complex medical terminology in a clear and concise way to her clients.
Lynda has been a volunteer for the AvMA telephone helpline since 2012, and continues to be closely involved with AvMA.
I would like to thank Grainne Barton and Lynda Reynolds at Hugh James and Mr Stuart Metcalfe, Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, my medical expert for the professional approach shown to myself and Paul at all times in fighting my case. I am pleased know it is all over and look forward to enjoying life again.

Her claim to fame is stopping to assist a lady on the street to deliver a baby. Baby Martha was born fit and healthy weighing 7lb 4 oz albeit in a rather undignified manner on the pavement before the ambulance arrived.
